The Role of Microsoft Word Processor, Excel, and PowerPoint for a Day.

The functions of Microsoft Office’s Word processor, Excel Spreadsheet, and PowerPoint Presentation are similar to one another in one singular way. Each application can be exported to boost one’s created document for any type of project. One instance of how each of these applications merges is inputting data into Excel, which can create graphs for importing into Word (or export) or PowerPoint. Using the Word Processor to build side-by-side images can be saved and imported into PowerPoint for a presentation slide. All three of these applications can create a wow factor when presenting information, but of these three, PowerPoint makes the information literally bounce!

One example of a document created in Microsoft Word can be seen below. The mirror image did not copy and paste into the blog, but it kept most of the detail I chose in the Word document. Microsoft Word's functionality editing fonts and styles can be captured using html coding.

I have mixed feelings between excitement and fear, knowing what must be done and making time for self-care. The weekend passed, and today came quickly, and I need to accomplish much today. Since today is here, I put myself aside to face my fears and follow through on everything I prefer to avoid. I choose to remind myself of a quote that Melanie Robbins, author, podcast host, and TEDx Talks about “How to Stop Screwing Yourself Over.”

Fear and excitement are the exact same physical state in your body.

The only difference is how your brain reacts to it.

I wish I had time to use my Oculus VR to do some Fit XR exercises to help relax my mind, but the interruptions made homework a priority. The late night also did not allow for video games on the Oculus or on my phone, which would have been nice. The thought of having free time opened up many opportunities while supporting my mental health and stresses. But that’s another story for another day.

The disadvantages of using these applications are manageable because each individual application works well as an advantage. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint have search functions to instruct users on achieving their desired outcome. For example, the Word application is great for creating documents like long technical writing, simplifying complex processes, and creating eye-catching brochures and flyers by changing fonts and styles.

Microsoft PowerPoint

A user can create an informative, moving presentation using the Word and Excel application data with video and presenter notes that keep the watcher intrigued using the PowerPoint application. Just click within the embedded PowerPoint to see the slide animations.

Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel has many benefits for everyone who is not as savvy with how its buttons function. In addition to creating plain 2D data graphics, Excel is beneficial because it can simplify complex economic data, making explanations easily understood. When writing long documents using a Word processor, Excel graphs can be imported in line with text or with text wrapping, and they can be saved in PDF format, as seen below. The graph Excel creates can also be imported into Word so that simple captions can be added to boost the quality of the written document. The Excel application has it all in its name; no matter what Microsoft application is used, Excel takes your project and makes it Excel-lent!
